The Blue Heron Inn, on the east shore of Pine Lake, offers peace and serenity to people who appreciate exceptional experiences and service. For nearly 15 years, T-Bones Pier-11 has been serving fine food and cocktails at the Blue Heron Inn. Founded by John Diedrich, a long time restaurateur and local entrepreneur with a history spanning nearly a half a century in LaPorte County, T-Bones is now owned and operated by John's daughter, Ida Kmiecik, and nephew, Tony Schutz. They continue John's legacy of service and quality - rooted in tradition and focused on the future. Perched on a platform overlooking Pine Lake, The Boardwalk Beach Bar and Grill is the perfect casual spot to grab a margarita or craft beer, while munching on a great little menu. Our taps rotate from time to time, and we are always trying a new cocktail recipe, and our entertainment schedule is coming together nicely.
